You Dazzle My SoulDawn is breaking on another day Earthly wonders dazzle and play Boundlessly beaming on landscapes of delight Nature performs and gives glorious sights Who is the Master as the orchestra plays Hidden but shining through stunning days Earnest animals taking their places Looking at man with smiling faces Various trees swing in a breeze A dog on a porch pauses to sneeze Wind and flowers dance in the light The sun sees and enjoys the sight Flying birds gracefully glide Creatures of the dirt dig and hide A horse gallops toward a westerly way As a rider rides and looks for strays Water falls from high to low Filling lands with life to grow Water creatures move and prowl Hens and ducks are crying fowl Beastly bears are bearing down A butterfly is gently found Meadows march in poets' prose Touching hearts and causing glows All these things and many more Call to those who will explore Rich in love and earthly scenes I thank you, God, for all these things Copyright ©2006 Douglas Keith Perry Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
