My Grain Of Sand
I was walking alone the beach a depressed and lonely man.
My mind was filled with grief, my heart was in my hand.
At my feet there had to be a trillion pieces of grain.
And! Each little speck of sand was mountains of my pain.
Weak and exhausted from my journey I collapsed right there in place.
Now each mountain seemed like worlds of pain dead in my face.
As I laid there out of strength the day turned dark as night.
But! Through those dark and gloomy worlds emerged one grain of light.
It glowed with joy, it sparkled of love, its' beauty could not hide.
as I reached to embrace its' warmth the earth brought in its' tide.
The grains of sand on one beach are as endless as the time.
But! I'll never stop walking the beaches until again that grain I find!
