 Menlove

Checked shirt
Hair greased back
Breath smelling of beer
When they first met
Playing guitar
With banjo chords
Sagging off school
To write the songs
Good for a hobby
The cavern rocks

I am
He said
Strawberry no more
Conquered the world
Love and bed
An end to war
Blood-stained glasses
A legend gone
Imagine
The world
Without their sound
