The Heavens Opened Up
The Heavens opened up
God smiled as you rose
To start a whole new journey
And bring life here to a close
In the wind I hear your voice
And the sun I see your smile
I hold you in my heart
And think of you all the while
Sometimes I feel saddened
When I cannot feel your touch
But then I feel God's comfort
You loved us all so much
I know set aside
In Heaven there is a place
Where we will meet again
And share in God's amazing grace
Until that day comes
I'll keep you in my heart
Though you went to Heaven
Your love did not depart
