Ambala school is one of the most beautiful architectural monument in sargodha The vault city of sargodha number of old buldings are there ambala school which is now under the department ocaf ,the school is the big sikh temple in sargodha before independence ,known as the gurudwara of sargodha .the gurudwara is located in the heart of the city sargodha ,most of the part of it is destroyed and the remaining is changed by the government ,the two sides of it is along the main markets of sargodha so on these sides shops are entered , Urban landscape pattern The gurudwara is situated in the heart of city ,near the four main market and adjacent to Urdu bazaar around this temple typical type of old buildings and houses are placed on the left side of it the central mosque of city ,which is on first floor and on the ground floor market is planed, this mosque has circular plan on four sides of the circle four main markets of sargodha .named (kacheri bazaar,barha market , bano market and muqam-e-hayat road )the temple exists in Bano market in fore time called gurudwara bazaar .sargodha is planed under the English government in urban pattern she divided it into different blocks each block has a square small park in middle of it and around it houses is planed and streets comes out from the blocks to the main roads or main markets , on the opposite side of the road from the main entrance of temple is a semicircular arch as a gate way to the street also has pendentives .a marble plate is fixed on the top of it (written bab-e-istaqlal ) on the right side of temple a market is located which is now called Urdu bazaar of sargodha next to urdu bazaar another old building of hindu area samaj is there a simple buildings main single frame door having number of panels above the door and under frame a ghrocka is there, this building is laid by (W-H-HAILY)in 1-9-1904 .is written in one of the marble plate fixed on the lower left corner of frame . This building is also under the department of ocaf now functioning as the girlsSchool.on the right of this building an other road intersects the gurdawara bazaar or bano market in the right side of this road which passes through the boundary of 19block on the right side an other gurudwara is located this is actually the part of the main gurdawara or the other kind of sikh building having two white cupolas which is the essential elements of gurudwara architecture.next to it two hindu temples are there the two hindu temple stupas are beautifully decorated.
