Welcome
One Flower Under A L.A. Freeway
Thank you for visiting Geisha, "One Flower Under A Los Angeles Freeway". In the heart of my soul lies California, the Southwest, my home. Dedicated to World War 2 hero, my late Father: For all I couldn't be while you were alive, I am now. All poems here by Susan Carole, aka Geisha, free verse published poet and creative writer.

"On a dismal October morning in Hollywood, I paused alone standing under a freeway off of Franklin Avenue and Carlos Way. I saw one outstanding, but pale flower surviving tall on its' own. It is in the valley that we really find out who we are before we get to the mountain top. Yes, I still am that flower under a Los Angeles freeway. P.S. While you are reading this, an animal/pet is being abused, lost, or suffering. CALL: 1-800-785-5119 Please!! Thank you.
