My name is Misty. I am a twenty three year old single mother from Texas. I love to write and occasionally enjoy a good novel. Writing helps me express emotions that I normally could not. Some of the poems here are reflective of my younger more immature years. As I grow as a woman, as a writer and as a mother my poetry seems to grow with me. I have not written in a while and am trying to get back into the swing of the pen. I miss it. I would like to get back into the habit of expressing my emotions to better deal with emotionally stressful and joyful situations. Poetry is an outlet and I have plugged that outlet for sometime. I feel as if I will explode if I do not remedy this. If anyone out there has any tips feel free to leave them on my guest book. They will be greatly appreciated!
