Silver Dish Spilling Mermaid Hailstones That Destroy Midnight

The numb tongue of what the mind has to say
Seizing the pain in the back of the eye
Until it disappears like clear tears absorbed into the skin
Afloat and breathing above the surface of the water
A million miles an hour like glass muscle stitches
Twitch balance trail lines of missing addictions and convictions
Chipping away the seconds of our lives like bees in hives

Silver dish spilling mermaid hailstones that destroy midnight
Transparent gaze from the lonely edge of the bed where fright falls off
Birthday cake body like icing inside sugar lips
Fast like being taken higher into a crumbling joke flag
Behavior rush innate instinctive before born following
The wind chasing light behind the building
Ahead of dark circles sudden flashes of light
Last rights given to the undead preaching broken umbilical cord strangled omen

Dead souls hearing the hot months waiting to be dismissed
Scratches nails not connected in the spring broken long seconds
Stems flowering out of me others playing huge orchestra falling cartoon cymbals
Smash crossed smashed cross ashes blurring growing in finished glow
A veil of burning clouds across the eyes of the great creation
Warm right next to the dying ember of layers of comfort
Tangled web woven by a breathing universe expanding
Laughter in pleasure spilling Heaven as the swollen fortunes of a strange God

They are attacking the expansion of the world
They are attacking the little boys and girls that we really are inside
Expansion world of wildlife soul revitalizing
Spirit cannot be tainted by money or lies
Determination cannot be swept under an imaginary deceit rug
Creativity cannot be contained unless it is in your hands
Even then, it tells me what to do
It demands itself to slide from my hand in a very particular way
