I cant help but feel like second place
Last when it comes to the thought race
Burden when I appear
Might not be true but this is what I fear
Putting everything on the line
Not knowing if everything will be fine
Haven't felt love in so long
Trying to sing positive song
Avoiding the feeling of being everyone's last thought
These feeling I have always fought
Wondering who would care if I died
Would anyone even come to see my last ride
These emotions I always try to hide
Trying to protect everyone
No one will know i feel this till I'm done
I never want to hurt anyone
I just keep everything to myself
Always putting my emotions on the back shelf
Trying to hide the hurt
Hiding when i feel like Iv been treated like dirt
A final rest will tell it all
Only then will people know I have a heart soul
