Welcome!
hey my name is glenn but you can also call me tommy or valleyhill or just doc. i am a man who is full of passion for life and i try to capture that in my poems. i want my readers to feel that passion as they read my lines. but i dont write for the reader, i write for myself. i see visions or images in my head, i think they come from the passions of my heart, and then i do my best to write down what i see, to describe as accurately as i can what i see and usually it just seems to flow easier if i write it in rhymes but over time i am learning to feel more freedom to not always try to make the lines i write for the sheer joy that comes when i feel i have found the write words or rhymes to describe the picture in my head. i write for the times when i get it right for myself not for you but hopefully when it get it right for me you will find it is right for you too. i do appreciate and v alueyour feedback. but that does
not mean i will go back and change any poems, it is more likely the feedback will shape my future poems or even spark some new images.
i look to life to inspire new images in my head to write down, working with people living in poverty, spending time alone in nature, listening to really really good music, or just experiencing my own lifes battles and victories provide rich ground for new inspiration and visions.
