Poetic-Verses

Sneaky Steve

There he sits like a pedator
Just beggin from hand-to-hand
Yet once he was a hero
Well known across this land

He once flew bombing planes
Over an island they call Japan
He shot down a lot of enemies
Yet, also saved his fellow man

He was once a broker on wall street
Always doing magic with his  numbers
But then things went to pieces
Now he survives in the slumbers

He's not just any old hero
He's truely a living legend
But, few even know about him
For his alley's more like a dungeon

When he wasn't fighting
He was sneaking cards up his sleeve
And when he brought down the Red Baron
They nick=named him "sneaky steve"

Now he lives off the homeless shelters
And from hand out to hand out
He don't need his purple heart
But a chance to live like a real man
