It's tough being a woman
living in a society
where perfection is the key
having to live up to
what the ideal woman
has to look like, be like, act like
we see pictures of what
society things is the ideal
It's tough being a woman
when there doesn't seem to be
enough time to take care of
everything our every day lives demand
when it's all rush, rush
we beg for more hours in a day
and we don't know how to rest
It's tough being a woman
when you're expected
to be organized and on top of it all
when you're asked to be
mother, daughter, friend, wife
all at the same time
and you're brought to tears
when you don't have the strength
But it's easy being a woman
knowing that you are God's daughter
because He is always there
guiding us through
the tough moments
and through all
the easy moments
and He is there especially
when it's tough being a woman
