~*~ I am from Canada and there are people from other countries that either have not heard of Canada or think we all live in igloos and that our desired mode of transportation is dogsled. I want to use this space to add a few funny "you Know Your in Winnipeg or Canada When" one liners. Hope you enjoy them,......
*~*You get your money from a bank machine and not an ATM
*~*You have more miles on your snowblower then your car
*~*Driving is better in the winter cause the potholes are filled with snow
*~*You know Toronto is not a province
*~*You get excited when an American show refers to Canada
*~*You plug your car in over night
*~*You always spell labor, honor, and color with a U
*~*You have Canadian Tire money in your kitchen drawer
*~*You know "Thrills" is a chewing gum that tastes like soap

And now to be serious for a moment,...... Can you imagine having your child kidnapped, not knowing if he or she is alive, where they are, how they are beng taken care of. I can and for that i am adding the Amber Alert Ticker to my site. PLease if nothng else, bookmark an AMBER site for quick access if ever yu hear of a child missing, You could save a life or reunite a family. God forbid, one day that child could be yours others are watching for.
