I cast no shadows
here in the darkness.
Hidden in the marrow;
sheltered within a
forest of ghosts
I prowl.
A cast from the moonlight,
a delicate note of sharp coldness.
I remember the ghostly melody.
I greet my old, dear friend;
I howl.
An outcast just beyond
the reach of madness
the touch of humanity
which sickens the veins
of a creature such as I.
Through many fading tales
engraved into decaying stone
tears from angels hammered upon.
maul and gnawed upon
by my demons and their forked tongues.
With this infinite knowledge
Instilled within me;
I am a lone wolf.
I am a creature like no other.
Bound, reigned by loneliness.
a deary heart, despoiled by nightmares.
Vapor prison walls;
as far and outstretched of the universe.
Under a voyage of stars,
I am wandering spirit.
Outcast nomad;
banned from the garish sunlight.
Married to my dear bride, Loneliness.
Mother to the somber child Grim.
