Hello, my name is Desirea Sweitzer and I live in Bloomsburg PA with my kids. The past few years haven't been the easiest but writing poetry gives me a chance to speak what is on my mind and not be judged on it. Most of the poetry that I write is from my life experiences which I will say have not been the easiest but it is what makes me who I am. I am not the type of person that can just sit down and start writing. When something inspires me to write, than that is what I do. I have two kids, Cole who is 6 and a half and Bayleigh who is 4. They are my pride and joy and they are my life. Other than that, work is what I do which is working with juvenile delinquents in a maximum secure lock up and I write poetry. Feel free to send me comments, suggestions or feedback. I am open to new and exciting adventures. If I have one piece of advice it is to live life to the fullest because you never know when it will be your last day here and never go to bed angry! Life is to short to hate and be miserable.
