I began writing poetry in elementary school. I wrote something for class about seasons. My next knowledge of writing a poem was in the summer of 1998 when I wrote "Titanic", which is featured on this site. In tenth grade, I was inspired once on a rainy day to write a selection called "A Million Upon the Ground". Feedback on that was very good. Unfortunately, I lost the original copy.
My poetry is also featured on Poetry.com, FamousPoets.com, and PoetryAmerica.com
Selections have also been shared at poetry readings and praised by colleagues locally and around the world.
As far as my inspiration, much of my poetry has an unrequited love theme. The most emotional of these were written during my junior and senior years of high school. Most of them were about a girl who would not give me the time of day, and ignored my love for her.
