Memorial Campground
When the sun rose
Early that morn
The Stars and Crosses
Were beautifully adorned.
There I looked
As far as I could see
They are asleep
And are a great part of me.
There they lay
Somberly in their grave
Cut down in their youth
Because they were brave.
I take a knee
And bow my head
These are my Brothers
Who died in my stead.
Father, to each of them give rest
This to you, is what I pray
Tell them, the mission is complete
And they no longer have to stay.
Their assignment is finished
Their goals has been achieved
A job well done
And they are properly relieved.
You gave me freedoms
I'll never understand
Now the post you vacated
I will forever proudly man.
Your work is always on point
Your integrity is never slack
Now take your rest
As you enter your final Bivouac.
Now, as the sun start to set
At the end of this day
May the souls of Heroes find peace
This, to The Heavenly Creator I pray .

who have Served in the Military of the US of America.
A special honor to those who gave the lives to provide
freedoms that we sometimes take for granted.
