Welcome to my poetry.You will find a broad range inside the pages. I do not define my poetry nor does it define me.What you will find is what flows within a moment's time through my mind, heart, and or soul,broad ranged emotions,some long lived and others passing in a fleeting moment gone near as quickly as they came. Other poetry in my pages include somewhat tall tales of the lives of poeple I have known or occurances I have witnessed while even others may be pure truth in relation to mine or another's life.. Some poetry also may address folklore interpreted and addressed in my own way or real life events done the same. Others come from pure imagination as I see some unique little story line like a play running through my mind.I hope you find something you will enjoy here and feel free to leave me feedbacks and or critiques as they are always welcome as you remember to always be kind as you would wish others to be with you. be it small or be it large.
This is my island, my refuge
My resort and my nest of creation.

...My home, my fortress
My puddle in the desert
My sunbeam in the storm

Nothing but ashes
Where old love had died
A fire put out
By tears that were cried

The coldness set in
No warm midnight glow
Nothing to comfort
A half broken soul

Into the shadows
Alone in the pain
Frozen by memories
Where nothing is gained

But out of the embers
Shot one little spark
One little chance
To warm a cold heart

Out of the midnight
A gentle wind blew
Sparking a flame
And slowly it grew

Mystical colors
Dance in the flame
Revealing
A beauty
Once hidden in pain

Flame into fire
Growing so strong
Burning with passion
Where love can't go wrong

Fed by its yearning
From deep with inside
Love that is growing
With nothing to hide

Flames full of heartache
Now smoke in the air
A new fire burns
With passion to share

The campsite is open
For all to attend
The lonely and broken
Who now need a friend

Sit by the fire
A friend will you find
To warm up your heart
When life is unkind.
