 Hi: So glad you could visit. Here's just a little write-up to introduce myself. I was born and raised in the sunny and beautiful Caribbean twin island of Trinidad and Tobago where my heart yearns to return one day. Writing poetry is essential for me as it's through this avenue only that I am able to fully express myself. It acts as a sort of catharsis for my wounded soul and serves to put things in perspective. My soul thrives when I am needed and I can give selflessly for it's only then that I live. I find that my biggest disappointments come from wasted energy on people and things over which I have no control. Too often I indulge in self-pity but this eventually serves to strengthen my resolve. My heart seeks no revenge, only love. I am an ardent lover of good literature and a wide range of music, though nothing stirs my soul like the sound of jazz.
