Welcome to our world, May you have a

Warm stay and leave with peace love

And maybe leave me a comment

Or a smile or a tear

I see the spokes of wheels
As I race onto this endless highway
Like a soaring meteor
dashing through the atmosphere
Plunging into that unknown landing

Photobucket

My eyes see circles of sunlight around the moon
As they look out behind the clouds
Sending rays of a morning sunlight
Pounding my flesh
As my mind hears that echoing voice
Singing those crisp musical sounds
Like an eagle's flight into scenic heights we cannot reach
For our wings have not been placed

And the spirit
Disguised
Becomes our guided journey
Behind locked doors of music

This song takes up that beat
making me zoom
Past the never-ending lights coming my way
As I become this flash
Soaring into circles
of a musical trance

Taking me
into the glittering of these
endless visions
Moving me
like a ship lost in space

I can't keep up
with the tone of words
entering my mind
As I become
the song played on lips

Singing voices guiding me
With the swiftness of a sonic boom
The deafening sound has me bound
To words only I can play

Yet everyone can listen
with their eyes
and understand
As it engulfs them along with me

The musical beat enters the channels of the ears
As the voice takes and pushes the volume
Past my vision of circles
Made into repetitions of
These voices from another dimension
Photobucket
Passing through the invisible glass
Set between worlds of fantasies and realities
The flash of a light awakens me as I glance
Into the future
books placed within waves
Of a setting
beyond the scope of a single thought

Written on the lines of the hand
The bright mixture of colors left behind
As the streaking meteor
Zooms into its point of impact

Exposing
The ending and beginning of new circles

Oh Great Spirit, Whose Voice I Hear in the wind, whose breath gives life to the world, hear me. I come to you as one of your many children, I am small and weak, I need your strength and wisdom. May I walk in beauty, make my eyes behold the red and purple sunset, make my hands respect the things that you have made, and my ears sharp to hear your voice. Make me wise so that I may know the things that you have taught your children, the lessons that you have hidden in every leaf and rock. Make me strong...not to be superior to my brothers but to be able to fight my greatest enemy.. myself. Make me ever ready to come to you with straight eyes so that when life fades as the faded sunset, my spirit will come to you without shame.

Hold On

Hold on to what is good,

Even if it's a handful of earth.

Hold on to what you believe,

Even if it's a tree that stands by itself.

Hold on to what you must do,

Even if it's a long way from here.

Hold on to your life,

Even if it's easier to let go.

Hold on to my hand,

Even if someday I'll be gone away from you.

A Pueblo Indian Prayer
