It Seems So Very Strange To Me
It seems so very strange to me how some react to words Others here will praise your poems for truthful content Saying how rare it is when people stand by their values Yet as soon as those few evil ones start their tirades Those who praised you scatter and run seeking shelter They're afraid that they will be singled out now too It's sad in many ways to know that few will stand tall For their own beliefs and for their own values in life Are you like those from past history who tried to hide Who had hoped that the evil people would just go away You want a good site where there's kindness and truth But who among you stands up for these values & beliefs? Are these just words that you just throw out there Many of you complain about your sites being attacked The vicious & vulgar words left by these ego punks here Yet you don't block their IP addresses from your site And you wonder why your site is assaulted over & over It baffles my senses as to why you don't report them I guess in our world it's always easier to run or hide But history shows us all that this theory never worked People always think if they remain quiet they'll be okay Well ask those who hid from street punks in Germany Or those who looked the other way refusing to see it Hitler and Mussolini were nothing more than punks too But as more people looked away and pretended not to see The more bold and vulgar they both became to the people Most evil people always became worse as more looked away Do you think they attack me because my poems are so bad? Or is it because I am one of few who stands up to them here! It's not my poems they hate, it's me for telling the truth © onceawarrior - all rights reserved.
