Phil Smith's Poems, good and bad.

No Respect

Sirens wail in the cool night air
Old people talk with despair
We look around to see who they are
Saddened to see it's a police car
Speeding past to answer a call
Locals don't seem to care at all
Young kids sneer as they pass
Frigin pigs, kiss my ass
Dad drunk at home
Mom walks the streets
These kids are out of step with life's drumbeat
It will soon be drugs
Instead of mom's hugs
That will turn these boys into thugs
