Reset To Transcend
Where can the heart hide from walking with all the stuff that is neatly stashed inside
Perception and eye contact, even the way we talk to say what we mean and do
Is conveyed to others to decipher, part of a generic code that resembles me and you
We carry our words to every place we go and decide on what kind of mood it's heard
What about our thoughts, ready to pontificate with fabricated words that roll
We're left to wonder with a sound mind that eventually things could start to fall
A measure of time will hear all the stories within a life span of pleasure and pain
And the silence of the heart will leave many words unsaid with long lasting regrets
How could we reset to transcend what our minds are telling us to go and do
To take a chance and gamble with our livelihood will put us in a different room
A form of deception is what will do the trick to continue in the process and mix
Nothing can be so very far from the truth with the blinders on every day you lose
Sailing away with the sun, could lead you down the garden path to taste the fun
Thinking everything is fine until the flood gates are open and water starts to escape
Time, to reframe the image on another wall, get restored and ready to take control
Awake and know, that you know it has come down to a belief of heart and soul
So where does all of this lead to, from a new start to explore and a finale to transcend
A mixture of heaven on earth, an insight so relevant to the inner workings of the heart
Where joy, peace and love reside like no other way, since the blinders came off yesterday
You can see, you can see all within your reach to have and to hold a glow within your soul
Finally, a joy that will forever be, a peace so hard to conceive and a love that freely gives
A new direction into an enlightened path with the Power of Three, an awareness to keep
A helper in time of need, a guidance counselor to empower me and a lamp onto my feet
All I need from above came down to visit and with His delight and grace has reset my soul
