Its been a very long time

Its been a
very long time

Since I have
been
with anyone

And instead
of dating

And falling in
love
with someone

All over again

This has been
the first time

In a very
long time

That I have
made
the decision

To remain
on my own

And if I never
date
anyone again

I will be just fine

Because at least
I can say

That I was  truly
able to
love someone

Just once in
my lifetime

As much as they
were able
to love me in return
