Dear friends - do 
You know that God is for
Us - and He cares about the things we
Do and say - and He watches over
His dear children - in our rest -
Our  work - our 
Play ?


He's not like an 
Angry father - who demands -
We fearfully obey - nor does He turn
His back against us - or disown
Us - and reject us - and
Push us carelessly 
Away . 


And - when we 
Stumble - He is faithful -
Waiting  closely -  by our side  -  always
Ready to protect us - and forgive us
As our Helper - and Redeemer
Our Saviour - and our
Guide . 


Oh - how He longs  
To draw His children - into the 
Safety - of His loving arms - to reassure us
And affirm us - that - we are His - and 
He would never leave us - nor 
Forsake us - or cause us
Any harm .


And when the enemy
Comes against us - He will raise
A mighty Banner - over you and me - and He
Will  banish those  who  hate  us - from
The  Mountains  - and Valleys -
And the Rivers - to 
The Sea .


Yes - the God of
Israel - our Saviour - is for us -
And not against us - as some would say 
Or have it  be - but  - His love is 
Everlasting  -  and  His 
Mercy's new each 
Morning ..

Watching over His Beloved -

Today - Tomorrow  - and -

For - all Eternity ,

Amen .
