Sept 11
The day the planes hit was a sad day for us all,
So many people thought the day was going to be the same as every day,
No one thought they would die that day,
No one thought they would lose love ones that day,
We all thought we were save and nothing could happen to us,
We all felt so safe we went on with our own lives without a care,
There was silence then a loud crash, then flames and people screaming for help,
Tower One had been hit,
People in the towers called home and said good bye to those they loved so dear,
They tried to get out of the burning tower, but some would not make it out alive or in one piece,
There was silence then a loud crash, then flames and people screaming for help,
Tower 2 is hit,
Oh god what is going on? Are we all going to die?
The rescuers come to help, but some of them are now trapped in the burning inferno,
People sit glued to their televisions waiting for news of loved ones, will they be alive when found or will they have gone home to god?
People stand down the road from the towers and leave flowers and light candles and prayers for their loved ones to be OK,
Will our live, our world ever be the same?
Why must we live through this hell?
Why must people hate?
Why must we have to look over our shoulders and be scared of someone else coming to hurt us?
Why can't we all live in peace with each other?

Your
Your eyes twinkle like the stars in the night sky,
You hair shines brighter than the sun,
Your lips taste sweeter than honey,
Your touch sets my body on fire,
Your arms hold me safe,
You love lifts me higher than the mountains,
Your love makes me feel safe,
Your arms is where I want to be,
Your face is the first thing I want to see each morning,
Your face is the last thing I want to see before I sleep,
Your arms is where I want to fall asleep.

Friends
A friend comes in many sizes and shapes and loyalty,
A friend who is loyal will take your secrets to their grave,
A friend is there to listen,
A friend is there in good times and bad times,
A friend is a shopping buddy,
A friend is someone to lean on when you need support,
A friend is someone you can have a great chat session with,
A friend is someone who will be there until the end,
A friend can make you smile when you are sad,
I am so glad you are my friend.

My Pain
My tears fall,
My pain builds,
My sorrow raises,
My heart breaks more each day,
My world turns more upside down with each breath I take,
My life is so empty and filled with pain since you are not in it,
My dreams are filled with the happy times of us,
My thoughts are always on you,
My life is nothing without you in it,
My prayers are that someday we will find each other again,
Please come back to me and make my world and life right again.
I entered a poetry contest at Bunyip's Creative cave and won. Here is the poem that won. Here is the poem that won.
Soldier's Burial
The flag waved at half staff in the breeze,
The eagle soared hi in the ski,
The solders stand at full attention,
The bugler plays taps,
The soldiers salute,
There is a flag draped over the casket,
Family gathers around the casket to say their good byes to their love one,
Two soldiers remove the flag from the casket and fold it and then present it to the soldiers mom,
Then there is a twenty one gun salute to the soldier,
The casket is lowered into the grown and dirt is placed over it,
God bye dear soldier and have a safe journey home to your heavenly father.

Secret Man
I am in love with a man I can not hold,
I am in love with a man I can not kiss,
I am in love with a man I must sneak to see or talk to,
I am in love with a man I can't have in my life without someone getting hurt,
I am in love with a man so much that I love him more than life itself,
I am in love with a man who holds my heart and soul,
I am in love with a man that I long to hold close,
I am in love with a man that I long to kiss,
I am in love with a man that I long to have as my own,
I am in love with a man that I can only dream of having without hiding,
Will I ever have this man and love him in the open?

Streets Of Heavens
Who is going to hold the hands of all the young angels going to heaven when they cross the road?
Will you hold their hands to cross the road?
Heaven must be crowded, why do we need to send more young angels off to be in heaven?
We need the young angels here on earth more right now,
There too young to be on their own in heaven,
They all have so many wishes that they want to come true and if you take them their dreams will never come true,
God we know you understand what we are going through, because you lost a son of your own,
We all sitting here fighting back our tears, because we don't want to upset our little angels,
Why can't they grow up and have a life here with us?
Don't know if you are listening, but all we have left is prayer,
If you take our little angels will you hold their hands and make them look both ways when crossing the streets of heaven?

Love And Lost
I loved you deep down into my soul.
I still do love you so.
Even though you have hurt me, I would never change what we had together for nothing,
The things we have shared will live in my heart forever and ever,
Looking through the tears its hard to see love is sadness, but at the same time it is great joy,
You hurting me like this has reminded me that I am not immortal that I can be hurt,
I followed my heart and set it free to love you,
I was swepted away by the tide of emotions you set free,
When we got toether the fire of love burned in both of our hearts, mine is still there, but yours has burn out,
We made a commitment of love and to honor each other and you broke that commitment,
When you touched me my body burned with desire to be with you,
You unlocked the chains that held my love deep with in me,
Even though I am hurting I am greatful you let me in to love you,
Loving you and losing you is better than not loving you at all.

Reflections
Yellow ribbons tied around stuff,
American flags every where,
Candles flicker and give off a reassuring glow,
Prayers are being said night and day,
Loved ones crying and worried about missing loved ones,
People looking out for each other and lending a hand when needed,
Missing loved ones and hoping for a safe return home,
People wearing yellow ribbons and buttons for support,
Funerals and special services being held for those who have died or been hurt bad,
People coming home safe and willing to go back and fight some more,
Children only able to know a family member by a picture or stories told about them,
Husbands and wives are left to be both mom and dad and run the home and work,
Our twin towers are gone, but not forgotten,
Those that died on September 11, 2001 will live on in our hearts and memories,
They died as hero's and innocent people that were in the wrong place at the wrong time,
The things we learned that factual day will always be in our thoughts and will be something we can draw upon when we are in need,
The bonds that formed that day between strangers and loved ones should of been in place before,
Lets bow our heads and say a prayer for those who have gone and those who are fighting to protect us.

Coming Home
The lost souls come home to rest,
They will never see a sunset,
They will never be held by love ones,
They will never hear the words of I love you,
They will never see the joys of their children,
They will never kiss their husbands and wives again,
They will never see their children graduate or marry or have kids of their own,
They will never see all that life has to offer them,
The only thing they will have is peaceful rest,
They will get a 21 gun salute and a flag when they are placed in the earth,
Is this all worth killing others and being killed?

Free And Proud America
Our flag waves proud and free,
We are proud Americans,
All of us take pride in our country,
We live in a country that is free and we will fight to keep it free,
We have people willing to fight and give their life to keep America safe and free for us all,
Many kids are without a mother or a father, because their parent has gone off to keep America safe and never returned home alive,
Parents are burying their children, because they went to fight for America and came home in a body bag,
You can attack us and try to destroy us, but you will never succeed,
We are proud Americans and are free and always will be.

Autumn Afternoon Delight
Sky light blue with big white fluffy clouds playing chase,
Wind blowing a cool gentle breeze,
Birds in the trees chirping a sweet melody,
Kids in the yard at play,
Leaves fall and gently falling to the ground,
People in their yards raking up the fallen leaves,
Squirrels playing chase and hunting for their winter food,
Flowers of summer prepare for their long winter sleep,
Green leaves now are turning brilliant shades of yellows, oranges and reds,
Lovers taking an afternoon stroll walking hand in hand,
Wow how much excitement an autumn afternoon can bring to those that love the autumn.

Love hurts
My tears fall,
My heart fills with sorrow,
My love for you grows,
Your love for me dies,
Love hurts and no way out,
Try to hide my pain,
More I try to hide pain the more it shows,
I wish our love was the way it used to be,
Why must I cry and the way I do?
Ever thing goes on even though I am hurting,
For me the world and my life has ended.

Star Lit Night
Stars twinkle brightly in the jet black sky,
Moon glows brightly with a big smile,
Crickets sing an enchanted melody of in the distance,
River rumbles over rocks and makes a relaxing sound,
Fire flies fly about flashing their bright lights,
Owl sitting in a near by tree keeps singing who with hopes of an answer,
Animals come out to search for food,
Not a soul insight for they all are nestled in their cozy beds for the night,
Frogs croak a song of love to each other in the pond,
The night is an enchanted place to be.

911 Anniversary
Two years has passed since you sent people to harm us,
What you have done still causes us pain and sorrow,
You have caused us pain, but you have not broke us,
You have made us stronger, and gave us the willingness to do what it takes to keep our home,
We remember those who passed with honor and great sorrow in our hearts,
Those that parishes that faithful day will go down in our history as hero's and innocent people, who died,
You say you hate us, what have we done to you for you to treat us so?
Your actions to destroy the United States has made you look like a fool, someone who only cares for themselves and will go to any means to satisfy yourself,
We were stronger and rose up to fight you then and we shall in the future, we are proud, we are stronger, we are true Americans,
America stands for the home of the free, brave and the home of the Americans willing to fight for our home and the right to have these rights,
So be warned you come after us again we will fight back each time you came at us.

Divorce
I am not happy here with you,
I don't love you no more, but I still love my kids,
I have tried to tough stuff out, because of the kids, but I can no longer do that,
I need my freedom so I can start a new life with someone I love and cherish,
You used to be my world and I thought no one could ever take your place, but I was wrong,
Not saying you have done anything wrong to change my love for you, it just happened,
You will a;ways hold a special place in my heart, but not my whole heart,
Wishing you great joy and happiness for the future,
Hope you find someone who will love you the way you should be loved, the way I can't love you,
Don't mean to cause you pain and sorrow, but if I don't leave now it will hurt more in the future,
Good-bye and be true to yourself, don't let my leaving stop you from reaching your dreams and goals.

Halloween
Moon is full and a dark cloudy mist floats by,
Stars twinkle in the jet black sky,
Houses all decorated with witches, ghouls and jack lanterns,
Witches and ghouls are out for a walk,
Kids all dressed in funny costumes going from house to house in search of treats,
Haunting and chilling music plays in some houses,
Skeletons rise from their graves to frighten,
Spiders build a web and set in waiting for their next victim,
The werewolf hollows a frightful tune,
Do you dare to go out in search of your treats or are you a chicken that runs and hides from all that is spooky?

Your love
Your love holds me safe,
Your love keeps me warm,
Your love shines my way,
Your love is everything to me,
Your love is the key to my heart,
Your love is there when I need a helping hand,
Your love is everything that is good,
Your love is where I want to always be,
Your love is what makes this crazy world right,
Love me and hold me close.

Wild Night
We lay together on a soft fur rug,
Our bodies touching each others flesh,
Kissing each others body from head to toe,
Hands reach out to explore every curve of each other,
Your hand finds my womanhood and my hand fines your manhood,
We roll like two dogs in heat on the fur rug,
Our bodies are stuck together with lust,
Arms and legs are entwined in each other as our passion and lust for each other grows to a point where we feel like our emotions will explode,
We take each other and make mad passionate love until we could no longer go on,
Laying here tired, satisfied, bodies still entwined.
In April of 2005 I enetered a poetry contest at http://groups.msn.com/BunyipsCreativeCave and I got High Reconnition for the following poem.
Saying Bye to Mom
When mom passed away I blamed myself, because I told the doctors to let her go,
I didn't want to let her go like she wanted me too,
Did not want to let my mom and my best friend go, didn't want to face a life without her,
Her leaving would mean she would no longer be there when I needed her or she wouldn't be there to need me any more,
Having the doctors pull the plug like she asked me to do made me feel like I was killing my mom,
Even though it was mom's decision for as far as I can remember and knowing how she would live I still felt that way, even though it was right,
Leaving the hospital knowing mom would never becoming home was the second hardest thing I had to do that day,
All the way home I felt like I had left something back at the hospital; that something was my mom,
Even though mom has gone for a while now, I still feel something is missing and I feel like I am searching for mom and what she gave so freely,
No one can ever replace mom in my heart or in my life, she was my one and only,
The only thing that keeps me from losing it all is that when the time is right mom and I will be together again in heaven with our heavenly father,
Right now mom lives in my heart and memories and is my guardian angel,
Mom love you now and always and you will always be in my heart and no one can take that place away or fill it.

Act of Terror
We have been struck with another act of terror,
More people scared and hurt,
People wondering if loved ones are safe,
Many people will be looking over their shoulders and will not feel safe in public place,
Lots of people confused about how this could happen and why it happened,
Others will wonder how we could avoided this from happening,
Some will get ideas to try things to see if they can get away with it and for the thrill of it,
People will be praying that no more terror strikes even though we all know it will,
Some will thank god for answered prayers that loved ones we found alright,
Many will get angrier about the senseless terror plaguing us,
Well others will sit and cry out of frustration,
The biggest thing that will be on all peoples minds is when it became not safe to go to public places or walk down a street,
We all need to do our best to stop this terror from happening over and over again.
I have been nominated as a 2006 Poetry Ambassador and have accepted it. I will add more when I know more about what is going on with this.
Part of my job as an ambassador to poetry is to get poetry out in the comminunity and write and stuff like that. I am very honored to be apart of this and will do the best I can.
On April 18, 2006 I entered a poetry contest at http://allpoetry.com/ and won a gold medal for the following poem.
Love between two countries
We met and were friends who liked each other from the start,
Even though we knew we were from different countries and were so far apart we still fell more each day for each other,
There were a lot of things we had in common and we felt the same way about a lot of things,
Many times we would flirt as we chatted but not fully admitting how we felt for each other,
We could tell each other anything and not worry about the other looking down at us,
To us what each other looked like didn't really matter for looks is not what makes a person who they are,
We have such a strong bond that we seem to know when something is wrong with the other one,
When one is sad or upset the other one does their best to make the other smile and make things right,
When one is hurt or sick the other one gets upset and worries until the other one is better,
No matter how much the sick or hurting one tells the other one not to worry that they will be alright the other one still worries until they know for sure the other one is alright,
There have been many who have challenged our love and they have lost, many have wondered and some have asked how you can love someone you can't touch or be with them physically well for us love is deeper than the physical touch and someday we will have the physical touch,
Being from two different countries does pose a problem but like those that have passed so shall this one and we will work it out together,
When we are together the time flies by and feels like we have a short time to work on getting to know each other better and working things out,
For us there are no sexual confrontations to worry or work through for we both believe in waiting until in person and it is the right time,
Many times I have wanted to sneak aboard a plane to see you but you won't let me and say when the time is right we will be together in person,
Your mom feels I am too old for you but you don't let that stop you from seeing me,
I have often sat and wondered that with your good looks and great personality and stuff going for you why you would love me and want to be with me and I am glad you found something in me to love,
As you already know I do not like my looks and wish I could change them but you say I am perfect just the way I am,
I have thought about what it would be like to be your wife and have even checked out your name with mine and it does have a good ring to it,
Being your wife would be the greatest gift our heavenly father could give me,
The only problem I have is I can't give you children of your own and I know you would really want some so you have to settle for my all ready made family,
I wish I could turn back the clock to back before things happened so I can't have kids and fix it so we were together then but it isn't possible to do so we must go forward and live the life that was dealt to us to live,
Our love for each other grows stronger with each minute that the clock ticks off and will out last the pressures placed on it,
I just hope your mom and others who care for you and want to protect you will eventually see how much I love you and will give their blessings,
The day you came into my life was one of the greatest days of my life and still at times I feel like it is all a dream and I will wake and you will be gone,
Each night I go to bed with a smile on my face and wake each day with a smile on my face for you are always on my mind,
You make me proud and honored to be your love and you make me feel special in every way,
The things you have planned for when we are together physically made me surprised and happy at the same time for no other guy in my life has ever done what you plan on doing,
You treat me now as an equal to you and you plan on doing so for the rest of our lives together and you walk beside me and not in front or behind me in shame or discuss and you are not afraid to show your feelings for me in front of anyone,
I love you with all my heart and ever fiber of my body today, tomorrow and forever and ever and thank you for returning my love and being in my life.
