Hey everyone, thank you for visiting my poetry site and taking time to visit my about the author page to find out what makes me tick. First of all, I am a fifteen year old upcoming junior at my high school. I am very happy with my life, grades going well (straight A's), a great boyfriend, and my wonderful friends which I could not live without. I absolutely love animals of every kind, my favorites are definately cats though. Ever since I was a child and first began writing (well at least things that made sense) I have been writing poetry. My first poem that I was actually proud of I wrote in second grade as an assignment. We had to write a poem about fall and I came up with some cute rhyme about leaves. Later as I began growing up and entering those "ever so troublesome" teen years I found that poetry was becoming an escape for me. At first I wrote mostly love poems (I thought I was so in love) but then I snapped to my senses and began writing some of the poems that are on my site. I have found that I can't write poems when I want to, just when I need to, or am inspired. I love to sit in the top of my closet (yes... Im small. 117 pounds.) and write poems for hours on end, but usually end up just wadding them up and depositing them in my junk poems box. I never throw a poem away. Never. While I would like to say that my parents are very supportive or my creativeness, they aren't. My dads seems to think the few poems I've let him read aren't that good, and my mom just never lets me alone to write. My friends, however, seem to adore my poetry (even the ones I don't think are that good) and they're the reason I keep writing. While I would like to publish a book in a couple of years, I'm doubtful it will happen because I can't write on a regular basis, but I will never quit hopeing!!!
Some hobbies I enjoy outside or writing poetry are playing the trumpet, playing softball, and playing volleyball.
