I Love Thee, Lord
I love thee, Lord!
I praise Thee, Oh Lord,
for Thy very being,
God who is Eternal,
unchangeable, in whom
there is no shadow of turning,
whose Word is Truth,
full of wisdom and power,
whose promises are sure
and certain of fulfillment,
whose Grace has made a way
of salvation for us poor sinners,
who has blessed us beyond all
that we ask or think or deserve.
Oh! Lord my God!
You have revealed to me Thy Son,
filled me with Thy Spirit,
made a way for me
through lonesome valleys
and storm tossed seas
for all my long life!
I so look forward to
the joys of Heaven!
I love Thee and
long to dwell
where I shall see
my Savior face to face!
