We Should Be Content With Such Things As You Have

Never make an excuse for what you don't have as opposed to what you do.
There is a right way of giving praise to God for the things you do have which He gave you.
It is by way of humility and frankness of what God has done for you,
If you happen to be unsaved/lost seek God for your salvation.
This will prepare you for the opportunities of giving praise to Him for all the things you have.
Count your blessings one by one and every time you begin to feel sorry for yourself.
Get out of the doldrums that you are experiencing and leave things up to Jesus for helping you to overcome.
This will help to insure you are able to be content with such things as you have.
