 Penniluck's legacy

Saor Alba

Saor Alba

We will be a nation again,
and then, we'll take back our pride
and not have to hide behind lies
just truth and the proof
that we are the brave
and no more a slave
to monsters and such
who lied far too much
Took us a while but
we will soon smile
as we march to the tune
of old Brigadoon
No more asleep
our nation will leap
to it's feet. Saor Alba
my friend, Wallace will lend
his ear, and Bruce will be near
cheering us on
and singing a song, of freedom
of freedom for all
It's then, only then
that we will stand tall
Walk side by side
heads held up high
with a glint in our eye
as we say goodbye
to tipping the hat
and low things like that
Scotland will welcome us hame
her precious ain,
and maybe a neighbour or two
will be with us too
to drink to our health
and share in our wealth.
