Dedicated to Marie and our love which is now gone.
Our love lived for 3610 days,
It was expressed in so many ways.
Though filled with sweet laughter and bitter tears
It was to me the finest years.
Today, she wrote and said "Goodbye"
Oh it's hard to see love die.
That love, so dear, is now gone
But it will play in my heart as a tender song.
I wish her love and life as she goes her way
Maybe we'll run across each other some day.
But I hope she'll look at the moon some night
and know that I'm thinking of her under its light.
Where ever life leads me; whatever sights I see
Whenever I see a sunset, I'll think of my princess Marie.
