City of Light
Shimmering lights
of a distant city
Approaching at night
they look so pretty
Like a mirage attracting
people who are thirsty
Who later realize that the
promises are empty
The city glitters and shines
with bright light
But to survive there one
has to always fight
To survive in the city is
an uphill battle
Only the toughest can
manage to settle
