Spirit Bay

                              by Bob Johnson

Spirit Bay is a place to go, a place to have some fun
Such a beautiful place to dance and play, with your little hon
Across the bay the mountains rise, standing tall and proud
Majestically they reach right up, through the gathering clouds
It appears the clouds are halos, as they encircle the mighty peaks
The mountains appear purple, with little snow white streaks
Some of the higher peaks, wear hats of cold white snow
A beautiful sight to behold until the north wind blows
The bay lays like a  blue diamond, it sparkles in the sun
People with their sailboats, playing and having fun
Fishing boats and canoes, it is a sight to see
If you want to see this sight, come along with me
We'll arrive here at daybreak so we can watch the rising sun
See a flight of Geese come in, I think this too is fun
Watch the Ducks and Muskrats, they each do their own thing
Off in the distance you can hear a country church bell ring
A peaceful country village, lays on the rocky shore
What a beautiful sight, a lovely place, you couldn't ask for more
