From Homeless to Househusband
Well, anyway, welcome to poetryplebian!
I write in a conversational style. I am no longer interested in meteaphor or images, though both occur with-in my poems. I am interested in language, breath, the rythyms of natural speech; the poetry that occurs every day as we communicate with one another.
My poems should, hopefully, convey the feeling that I am right there with you. My poems, hopefully, carry the same power in written form, as they do when I perform them at readings.
Almost every one of my poems is a story, collected together, they make a pretty clear picture of my life.
Anyway, bla, bla, bla. I guess I'm making them sound more important than they are. They're just poems after all.
