Call Me Anything But Religious
Poem 653 – Call Me Anything But Religious – Written on 7-20-14
You can call me anything you want to
But do not label me as Religious!
Religion is based around man made rules
And traditions wrapped around some aspect of Christ!
I do not want to be held down by labels
And man-made laws, but God's laws and commands
Call me anything but religious
Religious is not me its man-made
This religious traditional man made traditions I ain't me
What is me is following and obeying God's commandments
And rules for His son died for me
No one else but Christ Jesus
So why should I label myself
As religious but instead
I am a “Follower of Christ” and I have a relationship with Him!
Call me anything else but religious
