Six hundred million prisons
Six hundred million prisoners!
Caged beyond the bars
Yells every one proudly
This is the only world
The only one right!
Sits each in his cage
Views the world scornfully
Sees wrong in every thing
And grows the fruit of ego.
Religions built the walls
Of arrogance and bias
And plastered with ignorance.
Nations made roof
Of false pride and paranoia
Politics fixed the door
Of intolerance and hatred
And spread the odour of ruse.
Family laid the floor
Of greed and jealously.
Once blinds viewed an elephant
As they felt in a touch.
"It's like a rock," emphatic;
The first touched its belly.
"It's like a broom," shouted;
The second touched beast's tails
"Na, na, it's like a pillar," argued;
The third touched its leg.
"Oh, no, it's like an umbrella," grumbled;
The fourth touched creature's ear.
As the blinds felt
Only partial truth we know
Yet, think we all
Mine is only right
And rest of the world is wrong.
To know the truth more
Topple all the prisons
And yodel happy songs.
Let the minds breath
The air of love and freedom
