forgiveness is something that comes about
when the mind decides to deceive the heart
to let go of the pain.
With time
the pain does eventually leave.
this departure of the pain
leaves a whole in the heart
leading the mind to replay
DejaVu it feels
the heart can forgive
but the mind doesn't forget
after all is said and done
the memories are the scars
engraved in our brain for eternity.
The mind doesn't forget
but the heart does forgive
but the scars in the heart
do not leave but get covered
under the ocean waters
waiting for some wondering eye
to bring them back to the surface
again Dejavu.
When you ask me to forgive
bear in mind that i wont forget.
