Tale of Tails

The fairy said

"My name's Mary
I am a fairy
I live life merry,
So, call me Mary!

I'm here to tell a tale,
A sort of tale of tails.
My flowing tail's tale.
Here's the tale!

I was once not as I seem
No wings, no flight, no gleam.
I lived life full of dread
Until a godly voice had said
'You are meant for more than this world'
I wept to sleep inside by bed; curled

My new form had adapted quickly
Thrust through life so swiftly
It was at that time when, suddenly
A voice had called to me

'You're well on your way
Remember this day
For one day it will be your tale
Before I go let's toast to an ale'

I hardly remembered what happened that night
I had awoken to a horrible sight
I was miniature in size
And lights were coming from my eyes!
I found that I could fly
And I could paint the sky
My magical powers, new to learn
For their secrets, I yearn!

I've learned my powers
Now my foe cowers
At the very sight of me
I am a fairy!"

That is the first part of my tale
As you can see my tail is really long
And this is the same for my tale
My tale of tails
if you will
