Whoever lives under,
The shelter of the Lord;
Will not fear the thunder,
Confidence in reward.
For you will remain in,
In the shadow of God;
If you depart from sin,
He heals where you are flawed.
For He is my refuge,
As well as my fortress;
Keeps me from the deluge,
And is able to bless.
My God in whom I trust,
Rescues me from the snare;
That which sets up as lust,
For I know He does care.
God rescues me from blight,
And all the diseased beast;
Keeping me in the light,
So I am not their feast.
He hides me under wings,
To shelter out the storm;
Until the new day brings,
It all is back to norm.
His truth is my armor,
To shield me from the fear;
As a suit of honor,
Being worn to revere.
Epidemics that hit,
Plaques are roaming the dark;
That drags you to the pit,
Will stop where you embark.
They do not stand a chance,
With the Lord by your side;
They can never advance,
As long as you abide.
Just look into their eyes,
They will see what does wait;
As to what their demise,
And of their final fate.
