Just Speculation

From terrorist to freedom fighter

And on to leader of his nation;

It’s just a matter of perception

In a developing situation

Hunted man to respected leader

At times in the blink of an eye

Whitewashed  pages from history

Erased wrongs from times gone by.

Massed crimes erased

By the stroke of a pen

Welcome to the fellowship of

Those respected Statesmen.

In the general jubilation
It’s very easy to hide
Pardon and Amnesty may
Not apply to each side.

Its all a matter of perception

But whatever comes to pass

We’ll all still be controlled by

That same world ruling class.
