AUTUMN'S DEBUT - Fall is in the Air

Autumn's Debut

Today is the first day of Fall
There is a nip in the wind

The nights are chilly
A blanket is needed to sleep warm

Leaves are changing colors
Some are yellow, gold, and orange red

The wind whirls the leaves
in a rainbow of autumn colors

It will not be long till the pecans start to fall
and the muscadine grapes are lush and sweet

Squirrels and other small animals
scamper for nuts to bury for cold winter days

Children with their cheeks cherry red
play chase and other games

Their voices carried by the wind are full of laughter and squeals
loving this time of "not to hot - not to cold"

Deuteronomy 11:14
That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain,
that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.
