Fiery beams of August sun
emblaze all over;
Dusty arid biting breeze
hits up every corner;
Frazzled mirage cheats eyes
along sandy layer;
Summer in this lively desert
makes faiths warmer.
Wondered brisk bees buzz on
late spring blossoms;
Teeming bunches of sweet dates
adorn tall palms;
Ripe luscious seasonal fruits
awake hidden birds;
Humid East wind rummages
silent sand dunes.
Twilight enfolds vicinity
at the end of day;
Folks look for a better venue
to begin their own way;
Fragrance from woody Bakhor
embraces boutiques at bay;
Shisha blended aromatic coffee
stimulates the day.
Sheppard load up water and clove
into sheds of goats;
echoic laughter of happy kids
wakes dozing parks;
Heavenly malls arise from slumber
with influx of guests;
Gold sandy beaches welcome
folks by tepid waves.
Gust across Arabian Gulf
wipes off heat currents;
Merciless sun mocks at us
peeping through cotton clouds;
Solemn pinching memories
of burning summer untold;
Do not steal from my mind
that snuggle to my heart!
