My name is Terry Sasek, and this is Terry's Corner my new site at
PoetryPoem.com. Here I will be posting my poems and some of my
short stories about my family, my friends and experiences I've had
during my lifetime. I'm 61 years old and I have had what I'd call
an extremely blessed life considering all that I had faced in my
life and had survived those things that I really should not have
survived at all and for that I give full credit to God for all he
has blessed me and my family with throughout our trials in life.

I would ask that you take some time and visit my first site
here called "Once A Warrior", where you will find poems I've
written about the experiences we faced as we were serving in
Vietnam as Combat Security Policemen defending our air bases.
I served as an advisor with firetruck repairmen of the VNAF
(South Vietnam Air Force) in the daytime and as a perimeter
guard with the 632 security police squadron to help defend
Binh-Thuy air base from attacks from VC during the night.
