Off The Edge
For so many years, I've kept my poetry to myself.
Too insecure about my attempts at writing to show it
to a soul.
One day I showed it to a man who I greatly admired.
He told me to write on.
Let your inner child come out to play.
Open your mind to the many facets of life,
both seen and unseen.
Now I find myself leaping of the ledge,
past my comfort zone.
Sharing my poetry more and more,
in all kinds of ways.
I leaped of the edge
in to a brand new life.
