The Wood For The Trees

There is nothing more pleasurable than to share a moment, feeling or thought with another person, and to find in that openness and truth, the ultimate truth; that we aren't alone in our passions and pains. Our experiences in life vary and are difficult as well as beautiful, one thing both also are, is shared.
Oh, so you've never head of anyone that felt like you do? Have you thought that perhaps they haven't said so because they are just afraid to say it aloud as you are?
Inside here, you will find a lot of poems, not all of them are deeply meaningful or even applicable to anything other than a mood or moment that existed once and only once, at the time of their conception. Some are funny, critical, angry, loving, contemplative, or purely descriptive... all are moments in my life which compelled me to want to record them, and share them. The reasons are not always obvious and as a result some poems may never mean half as much to me as they do you or someone else. That is as it should be.
Do you know that phrase - "to see the wood for the trees?" That is poetry right there - a walk in the woods of life attempting to find clarity, purpose and truth. Or at least - that's what poetry is for me. It is for these reasons that I revel in the words that surround us. For love of the utility they give us, to express Love in all ways.
