Welcome to A Sussex boyhood

P.S Please don't be offended if you've given me feedback and have received none in return as yet.I have a sneaking suspicion that my very old computer dates from the neolithic period and has a habit of crashing whilst visiting other poets sites so please bear with me.Thank you. Oh yes and there's an enlarged photo of me at the bottom of this page just in case anyone wants to see the face behind the writing. Not that I'm vain or anything...(pity they couldn't hide the double chin though...sigh)

'God gives all men earth to love,
But since man's heart is small,
Ordains for each one spot shall prove
Beloved over all.
Each to his choice, and I rejoice
The lot has fallen me
In a fair ground-in a fair ground-
Yea, Sussex by the sea!'
