www.PoetryPoem.com/markeda1 A Mother Journey This is a story about a mother love, for her children,and the right to fight back This is a story about a mother heading towards her destiny For seven long years this mother had been longing to be reunited with her children after being forced to be separated from her family at a young age. you see the nightmare started in 1998 and this poor mother didn't stand a chance for what she was about to go though. This mother was 20 years old and she was known for being all alone and everyone knew that she was a single young african american woman who was known for her determiation and faith. by her being so young she admits her past mistakes but it just seem like it wasn't good enough. because as she realize her life and where she stands and the society she began to realize that there truly a battle to be won. This mother was young and independent plus she had 2 children already,but she was told to go to a shelter because she had know place to stay. so she was hooked up with Department of Human Services. she realized that she was a single mother of a 2children who was concieved out of premartial sex but inspite of the situation she always knew her responsiablty. As she began to be relocated to the shelter,she had no contact with her family. and when she finally arrived to the shelter she relized that she was beig watched she was judge from the first day she walk though the door. living the life as a single mother,and yet being continuially miss understood she finally began to view how the world judge a single young woman who is trying to survive and take care of her children. In 1999 she had gave birth to her daughter alexus and she was under weight and dhs had blamed her,then she was lied on it was told that she left the clinic and someone came to pick her up and she was not there. so thereore she was written up for not being there. one week she was told that she could go home for the weekend, and she had got wrten up for that.Inspite of her being lied on she still had decided to do her chores and she got wrien up beause she didn't g to the meeting plus she was told t the children suppose to be and bed at a certain time.She was willing to work but they wouldn't allow her to work,she didn't undersand because there was a daycare there. Apil 1999 she had got a day pass and she had put her children and daycare and she had want to philly to see her lawyer,because someone told her that she is about to lose her children again.and she coudn't bear to lose her children She returned back and media and she called from the mall so the van can come and pick her up but she was told that her children was taking out of daycare and since she was not there that she had neglect her children and department of human services was called and they was taking her children and if she was to show up that she was going to be arrested. S she was so scared and so confuse, so she cried and left out to go back to philly.the sadest part was she coudn't bare to abandon her children, so she did only what she knew to do she prayed to the man upstairs. The van came to get her and she returned home to her children. She admits that its hard being a mother of three,it was more than she had expect to have bared by herelf. she had expected to be married. Her dhs worker had called and said that she need to come for a meeting and when she had arrived I found out that i was written up for 100 things that i didn't even sign my signature for it was things that i didn't do but all bcause i was quiet and to myself i didn't want to do anything that will cause me to get my childen taken away.but she realized there was no way she could win because there was so many lies that was told on her. Her worker told her she sorry there nothing she can do that once she give the report to the child advocate she gonna want her to take the children and the wrker gave her 2 weeks to find somewhere to stay because the children gonna be place in foster home. On may26,1999 the tragedy has just began you see that day was a day she would never forget.you see that was the day her social worker tored apart her family and broke that young mother heart. she was so sad that she became so depress,you see she didn't even have a tear to cry she couldn't shed one tear from her eyes because of all the days she had cryed Her world was so broken apart she just wanted to die because she felt like she cant't live without her children.you see she thought that her children was all she had,then she realized when the chips was down who was always there. she finally began to realized how she had put her children before her king So she had asked God for forgiveness and she asked him to help her though Every since then and 2002 the day they took her parential rights away and had lied on me and forced her to put her children up for adorption she still remain to keep on fighting and searching to be reunited with her family.Even until today the lord had been so great,even though she lost 3 children she loved so dearly God bless her with four more children. then her childen dad ranaway and took two. Guess what do the Lord had blessed her to get custody of the other two and he promise her that he will restore everything she lost including her five chldren. Well it was a preasture to share this true story with you but i need to take care of my cildren God took them from him he trust his mom to talk the children and she filed for custody. Guessed who the blessd mother of 7 was? That right this story was a real life story and testimony about me and my children. Know this if God can do it for me he can truly do it for you.
