I read what Terry said about surprise birthdays. Know what he means. Younger days I took risks. Wasn't going to live that long anyway. Here I sit today looking back at the charts and am one of the longest survivors. Owe it to Modern medicine. I find one great Uncle lived to be 74. Live dangeriously Terry but live well. Saturday I go to my Stepdads Memorial. Three months less than 101 years old. I'm to be given the mike. I have nothing but nice things to say about this man. My biggest Surprise birthday. One of wife's pleasures is to surprise someone. She took me to the Airport and I could not know where we were going. Changing to the correct gate at last minute. The surprise was for both of us in turned out. My birthday first week in March. We flew to Anchorage, Alaska. Arrived to our hotel after night was beginning. Clear skies. In the morning I heard barking dogs. Looked out the window covered in snow. Sharon had no idea it was the start of the idirod dog races. The snow all night was trucked in. We watched the race begin. What a surprise!?/dandy
