First it needs to be read starting from earlier versions. I mention policeman in my family. My Brother in Law at the time was an ex-cop. He is also a Lawyer. No I am not making this up. He is a Lawyer for the police guild. He calls the next morning. He isn't entirely on my side. He sees a huge lawsuit against his buddies. So this is what he tells me. The Metermaid had a bad day. But the good news she is fired. Not necessarily for what she did to me. She was on probation anyway. She had a habit of rushing and making up a quota of tickets in half a day and then going shopping. Pretending to work the whole day. On this day after our encounter she took her truck to police parking at the mall. Met a friend there turned off her speakers locked the truck up and shopped. The Police found the metermaid truck but not her and assumed I had done something to her. She would come later to get the truck but it was taken back to precinct. So her friend took her home to concoct a story. I had forced the ticket from her a total lie I took it from the wiper and never touched her. She called her friend and she took her home tramitized. The cop at the desk was treated for a possible broken wrist and the cop behind for broken ribs. Neither of home went to the hospital. Never forgive my ex-brother in law for this. His advice was. If I went before a Judge the Judge would take the officers side on this due to their injuries. The Metermaid was fired. The cop on the desk was there because it was his last two week before retirenment. The only one to apologize to me ever was the cop who came from behind. He was trying to get them to listen to me but everyone was angry. They hadn't as yet found the metermaid safe and sound./dandy
