My Dear Kathryn, After I read this beautiful poem, dedicated to me, I did call you to thank you -- and now I have no words left to match the way I feel. I knew for a long time that we were kindred souls and I was so honored that you thought of me as your Yiddishe Mama. Yes, we are kindred spirits and we are very much alike -- and it's 8 p.m. and my heart is so filled with gratitude, that I forgot about preparing my dinner. But I promise, my dear adopted daughter, that I will write a proper thank you tomorrow. Love you, Annette
